/Currents of Belongings
Where Roots and Beginnings celebrates the warmth of home and the grounding comfort of shared memories, this area takes you into a different phase of life—one where you face the currents of society. Here, the focus shifts to navigating life, overwhelming pressure, disconnection from nature, and the struggles to remain true to your core values amidst the demands of modern life.
Flowers and Nature appear here in both organic and artificial form, highlighting the contrast between the real and the constructed. Unlike the rooted nostalgia of Roots and Beginning, this space feels fluid and unsettled, inviting you to confront the impermanence of life. How do we stay grounded when everything around us is in motion? How technology keeps changing us each day, reshaping our realities and mental landscape?
Currents of Belongings challenges you to embrace the chaotic nature of adulthood while reflecting on the cycles of life and death, the interplay between Nature and technology, and the ways we navigate the currents of belonging and identity.
The Blooming Resonance
Flowers, whether real or digital, embody the swirling cycle of life and death, blooming vibrantly before fading. Playtronica's Biotron invites you to touch real, artificial, and digital plants, triggering sounds and visuals that echo this cyclical motion. In this meditative space, nature and technology intertwine, blurring the boundary between the organic and the artificial.
Memories, like flowers, follow a similar cycle—flourishing with vitality yet marked by impermanence. Their shifting, wave-like rhythm reflects the transient nature of existence, reminding us of the delicate balance between creation and decay. Through sound, touch, and light, this installation mirrors the swirling interplay of contrasts: past and present, real and imagined, life and loss.
Here, connection is the root of meaning, as the convergence of memory and nature invites us to reflect on the beauty within the fragile cycles that shape our lives.

Currents of Life
Currents of Life uses interactive technology to create a visceral experience of struggle and resilience. As you move, the waves move with you, mirroring the weight of life and societal pressures, symbolizing how external forces can feel suffocating, overwhelming, and relentless.
Yet, water holds duality—it is both formless and essential. It adapts, transforms, and nourishes life. This installation invites you to reflect on the burdens we carry and the strength we find to persevere. The interplay between your body’s movement and the waves becomes a metaphor for unpredictability and resilience, reminding us that even amidst chaos, we can find balance.
Through this dialogue between human experience and nature’s formlessness, Currents of Life captures the constant push and pull of life. It inspires us to embrace the fluidity of water as a symbol of adaptability and survival, turning burdens into opportunities for transformation.
